DesignworksUSA, the global design consultancy of BMW, has created its vision of the Metro system. Commissioned by Siemens in the summer of 2010, the BMW Group subsidiary developed the design of the new Metro Inspiro – a further chapter in the long-standing cooperation of the two partners. We had a little teaser sketch in from Mitsubishi back in December telling us about their ‘Mitsubishi Concept Global Small’. Which obviously arrived on a busy day, or didn’t tickle our fancy, as we don’t appear to have run the story. Not that there was much of a story, just the sketch.
The Skoda CitiGo – the Skoda version of the VW up! – launches this week in the UK with a replica Stonehenge made of scrap cars. It’s hard to come up with an original way of launching a new product, but Skoda have made a decent bash of it for the UK launch of the Skoda CitiGo – the Skoda version of the VW up!
